Business and platform status
Bahamas On The Fly is being established as an independent Florida limited liability company. Its final legal name, Florida Seller of Travel registration number, business address and other required licensing disclosures will be posted before live payment processing begins.
The platform currently accepts booking requests only. A request is not a confirmed reservation, and the website does not currently collect card payments or charter fares.
Booking terms and platform fee
Guides and lodges are independent service providers. A reservation becomes binding only after the provider confirms availability, the customer accepts the provider's current terms, and any required payment is successfully completed through an activated payment provider.
Customers pay a progressive platform booking fee: 14% of the first $1,000, 10% of the next $1,500, and 6% of any amount above $2,500. A 10% Bahamas VAT estimate is added to listed guide, lodge, day-trip and package prices unless the listing expressly states that VAT is already included. The fee, VAT estimate and estimated trip total are shown before a request is submitted. Transfers, licences, gratuities and other vendor charges are separate unless expressly included.
Prices, availability, taxes and inclusions remain subject to vendor confirmation. If the confirmed price materially differs from the request, the customer must approve the revised total before payment.
Cancellations, refunds and chargebacks
Each provider must supply written cancellation, deposit, no-show and refund terms. Those terms will be presented to the customer before payment. A provider cancellation does not authorize the platform to substitute another provider without the customer's approval.
When live payments are activated, refund responsibility, processing costs and treatment of the platform fee will be disclosed at checkout. Customers should first contact support about an unauthorized or incorrect charge so the issue can be investigated promptly.
Weather, safety and travel responsibility
Fishing, boating and air travel are weather-dependent activities. Providers and pilots retain responsibility for operational and safety decisions and may delay, relocate, reschedule or cancel services when conditions are unsafe or unlawful.
Travelers are responsible for passports, visas, medical needs, suitable clothing, fishing licences not included by the vendor, and complying with provider and government instructions. Travel and medical evacuation insurance are strongly recommended.
Airline and charter information
Airline links are provided for convenience. Bahamas On The Fly does not control third-party airline sites, schedules, fares or cancellations.
Charter listings are referrals only. Customers contract with and pay the authorized air operator directly. A pilot licence alone does not establish authority to conduct commercial charter flights. Listings remain subject to verification of the operator's certificates, permits and insurance.
Vendor standards
Vendors must provide accurate legal identity, pricing, availability, licences, insurance, safety, capacity, tax and contact information. Applications are reviewed before publication and may be declined, suspended or removed if information is incomplete, expired, misleading or raises a safety concern.
Vendors must own or have permission to use every name, logo, photograph, description and other item submitted to the platform. Submission does not guarantee approval or placement.
Review policy
Only customers associated with a completed Bahamas On The Fly booking may submit a verified review. Reviews must describe a genuine experience and may not contain fraud, impersonation, threats, private information, unrelated advertising or unlawful content.
Reviews are not removed merely because they are negative. Material connections and incentives must be disclosed. Third-party reviews are not copied onto the platform without permission.
Privacy and data use
The platform collects information needed to process requests, review vendor applications, provide support, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations. This may include names, contact details, trip information, submitted business documents, electronic-signature records and technical security logs.
Information is shared only with relevant providers, service processors, professional advisers and authorities when needed for these purposes. Personal information is not sold as a standalone product. Raw payment-card numbers will not be stored by Bahamas On The Fly.
Requests to access, correct or delete information may be sent to bahamasonthefly@gmail.com. Some records may be retained for contracts, disputes, fraud prevention, accounting or other legal obligations.
Accessibility and support
Bahamas On The Fly aims to provide an accessible booking experience. If a form or page creates a barrier, contact bahamasonthefly@gmail.com and describe the assistance needed.
